Stability, Maneuverability, and Fun, the Rivershred has you covered!
The IRS was my first board to get in the river, hunting for waves to surf, but I put on a little weight last winter and wanted to bring my dog, Butters, who is a big guy too, so I needed something bigger, especially for longer float trips. This board is correctly marketed as something that handles rapids and punches through eddy lines, but it is also a great all-around board for the lake and the flat stretches of the river when I want to enjoy the views. It is also short enough and has the rocker to surf the waves I'm hunting for as we float down the Rio Grande. It is super maneuverable and stable as I enter and exit the fun features I find along the way during our family float trips. This board makes it easy and fun to navigate the rapids, catch a surf wave, and enjoy the river.
Sweet Stick
I’m 66 , bought my Rivershred last year and glad I did. As others have said, it rides over and thru wave trains easily thanks to its strong rocker fore and aft. I’ve made multiple runs on my home river, the Poudre, as well as the Arkansas and the Rivershred rocks! Incredibly well constructed and backed by absolute world class customer service. Having spoken with Noah a couple times and visited with Mike at the surf shop in Salida last summer, I am happy to support such a great homegrown company that is invested in both the local community in the Arkansas Valley and the water lovers community at large. Ola I ka wai!
Great board!
The Rivershred has been the perfect addition to our collection of SUPs. It maneuvers incredibly well in whitewater. I went from feeling decent on whitewater to feeling like a pro in one session! I often use it on flatwater cruises too - fits the pup and the kiddos!
Old man on the river
Took my new Rivershred out for it’s maiden run on the Poudre (filter plant) this past weekend and had a blast! Having a white water sup is a complete game changer regarding maneuverability and riding the wave trains. I spent a lot of time researching white water specific sups and talked to quite a few folks before deciding on the Rivershred. I’m really glad I chose the Badfish Rivershred. Noah and the Badfish crew provide great customer service. If this 65 year old can do it, what are you waiting for?!
Best river board out there!
The Badfish Rivershred is unmatched on the water! I made the jump from flat water to flowing water on this board and never looked back! This thing will have you running drops like a pro and is incredibly maneuverable. Use it for river surfing - it’s an absolute blast in any conditions! 100% recommend adding the RiverShred to your Badfish collection!
