- river waves
The iSK8 defies some basic rules of physics of so it seems. This board is so maneuverable and stable on a wave and it just doesn't seem like it can be an inflatable. Light and easy to transport in addition to being extremely durable this is a great investment. The rocky and shallow waves of the southeast can be rough on epoxy and glass boards, so a high-performance shortboard inflatable is an amazing resource and needs to be in your quiver.
The inflatable SK8 is a durable, stable, user-friendly, surfing machine. It is thin enough to actually get some rail into the water and make hard carves, but has enough volume for the absolute beginner to learn how to surf. Not kidding, I have pushed complete beginners onto a river wave with the SK8 and within an hour had them standing and surfing. If you are at all interested in surfing river waves at any level, get this board.
It's September now and I'm still taking this little gem out onto little river waves. It surfs almost anything. I don't have to worry about beating it up, I practically drag it around, yet it is still allowing me to carve and be playful. Gotta have this in my quiver.
