Loving the new fish tail
Rode my older 6'11 model for awhile and still love it but this new 6'4 is awesome. The new tail allows me to run smaller fin set ups for tricks and spinning but still able to have control on my carves which is always been a hard balance. im about 160lbs and 5'9 and the 104 liter is good for me. 6'11 is a little easier and faster in the flatwater but the 6'4 I can throw around easier and be more aggressive with my surfing.
So light and playful!
Ever since I got into river surfing, I have had a Badfish river surfer under my feet. The direction of the sport is changing exponentially because of the evolution of this board. This year's board is so light and maneuverable it makes every move seem effortless. I spent the season dialing this board in, both with and without a paddle. Due to its small size it feels more like a traditional short board than a bulky sup. I absolutely love the new river surfer & am counting down the days until April when i get to hop back on that speedy, little carver!
The most fun you can have on a SUP surfer
I've been on the RS104 for a full season, without about 30 days under my belt. The board is off the hook. It will slash apart smaller and mid sized features and is a lot more fun than being on a heavier and larger board. I did not have the opp to surf larger waves this summer due to a low snowpack. I can't wait to surf it next season... The board is exponentially lighter than previous iterations of River Surfers...it is in fact lighter than my customer surfer that was hand built in Salida, CO. AMAZING BOARD.
