I love this board. It has enough foam to catch waves at lower flows, but is short enough and is shaped well enough to crank around powerful turns across the face.

    Made to surf!

I've been surfing Badfish boards since they were made from blue board insulation and home glassed in a garage. Zack knows his stuff and in my mind is the leading shaper when it comes to boards for river waves (and down river boards too). I can't wait to see the next generation of shapes for river waves. Love this board and a wide range of wave sizes. (I'm 175 lbs and 5'10").

    Love this board

This board allows me to surf so many different river waves. Both the faster, better waves where lower volume boards work, and the slower waves that won’t hold many other boards. I find the board to be fun and lively in most any conditions, and it will expand the range of surfable waves. I’m 6’2 200+ and I surf both the 5’6 and 5.0’ HV. Highly recommended!

    Fun surfer

I had surfed the iSk8 for two seasons when I made the switch to the fiberglass sk8 5'6". I love it for Glenwood at high water. It's stable and easy for me to pop up on, but carves nicely back and forth. I am 5'9" and 160# and it feels like the right size for me. I have also surfed it on lower, slower waves- Glenwood at lower water, Montrose, BV, and it stays nice in the wave and I can carve back and forth. If the water gets too low and there's a chance to ding it, I usually switch back to my dear old iSk8.
