The revolutionary iShape brings you the performance and characteristics of a hard-touring paddle board while maintaining the convenience of an inflatable SUP. Boasting three new advances in inflatable paddle board technology all rolled up into one high-performance machine. The iShape is built from the foundation up with our brand new AirLite drop stitch, which rolls and packs more easily and weighs less. Second, with a few pumps of air into the patented Shape Chamber bow, the board transforms into a 3D water-shedding missile. The last thing you’ll leave behind on the iShape is a sheet of glassy water as the Wiki Rail Tail creates the perfect edge for smooth and efficient tail release.

Blown Away

I have been paddling SUPs consistently for about 7 years. I am an ocean paddler, a river paddler, and a flatwater paddler. I've also guided commercial SUP trips for years. Of every inflatable, I've ever been on, this is the fastest. It's faster than the Selfie 14. It's faster than any inflatable of those dimensions has a right to be. The combination of the Wiki Rail, the Shape Chamber Bow, and the AirLite drop stitch really makes it feel like you're paddling a hardboard (I know... I know... you've heard that before - this time it's legit). After pumping up the bow and thinking to myself, "this is such a gimmick." I actually paddled this board and the Selfie 14 side-by-side to compare hull speed. This board felt like I was on a smaller, composite, touring board, maybe one meant for women. The Wiki Rail is noticeable with every stroke and the board weighs a perfect amount to carry speed through the water. The bow makes it feel like displacement hulls have made it to the inflatable world. If you have experience paddling iSUPs and want to go crazy fast, you need the iSHAPE. If you can find a faster inflatable on the market please reach out and let me know.

Game Changing Inflatable

The IShape is a game changing board and quickly bridges the gap between inflatable and hardboard with the extra 2lbs of inflatation in the nose. This design feature turns this board into a true displacement as the nose drives through and deflects chop. The IShape is light considering the features but not too light which allows it to carry momentum and not get bounced around in the wind. The dimensions seem perfect and at 28 inches wide it rewards those paddlers who invest in developing their forward stroke and the five inch thickness keep the board sleek. It is efficient, fast and holds an edge well. I love running the side fins with Badfish's 4.5 inch centre fin which makes the board dynamic when surfing or down winding but also offers low clearance when paddling rivers. The bottom line is that the IShape provides the paddler an incredible experience and connection to the ocean, one that will keep the smile on your face and will have you shaking your head that you are on an inflatable. Cheers to the team at Badfish SUP for being leaders in innovation and design.

Lovin’ this little board!

There are not too many inflatable boards that I have really fell in love with… well none really. But the New iShape just changed all that! I have spent a number of days on this board now, paddling off the east coast of Vancouver Island. The iShape is quick, has great overall speed, pivot turns like a hard board, is crazy stable AND overall fast and smooth! All the advantages of an inflatable but this board actually performs with a very nice release from if the tail, while the shaped nose cuts through wind and chop and doesn’t submarine on the down wind. The iShape is literally my new favorite board. Period. Light. Fast. Smooth. Stable. Cool factor = 10/10. Best inflatable I’ve paddled. And one of the best boards I have paddled. You need one!

Incredible Glide

The iShape is revolutionary. With 20+ years paddling experience and a background in engineering, fluid mechanics, and hydrology the science is correct. The production capability to build the nose chamber and the Wiki Rail is perfect. I spend several days a week paddling, many times in near shore and offshore conditions in Miami. The nose chamber increased the conditions I can paddle in by approx. 10 mph. Downwinding is a blast and the length and width with the Wiki Rail allows more a downwind experience significantly superior to all other inflatable. 12'6" is long enough with the Wiki Rail to have significant glide and 28" wide is stable but fast. This board increased the distance per stroke I paddled on average by 1'. I get a full mph faster on long paddles compared with the Selfie at 14'!
