Other riders struggling on foamies are so confused… how is it that I can easily stand and surf a mushy river wave when they can’t? This is a river-specific foamie, and it is for sure NOT equivalent to all the other foam boards out there. I am 5’9” and 165 lbs and I can easily ride this board on river waves. I love this board because it surfs like a very low volume ocean board but can catch smaller river waves much easier than an ocean board. I reach for this board on river waves that are steep and glassy but don’t require much effort to get in. I use this board almost exclusively at the Montrose whitewater park; after a few dings on my other boards from rocks I just use this durable board there.

After using the bomb drop for a season now I’m blown away by the performance. It maintains a stiff & high performance feel while being user friendly and safe. The flat rocker profile in the tail is wonderful to carry speed through turns. Highly recommend!
