Very fun. We really enjoy this board
This boards unique shape is perfect for surfing river waves. It has more volume than most ocean surf boards which makes it way easier to get up on and carve turns. This board has seen me thru two seasons of heavy use and it's holding up like a champ. Its also very light and super easy to lap waves with due to its carry handle. We also found multi purposes for this board! Just in case you also wake surf, this board is the perfect beginner wake surfer.
Excellent service and I am beyond impressed with the hard sk8 5.0. Love how it can be moved around so easily and really get on an edge. Was disappointed it was made in China, but badfish did here research and found great group to make these boards. I was just being snobby wanting a board made by the owner.
I fell in love with shortboarding thanks to the sk8's. If i go out to prone river surfer, this is my go-to board. Nice volume so I can surf most waves even if there's a bunch of mush and whitewater. The rounded pin tail carves and releases super well and so light, its easy whip around. comfy and grippy deck padding so no need for surf wax. Honestly my favorite board and have more fun on this board than any other board.
This board is super fun to ride! It caters well to beginners all the way up to advanced riders! The Sk8 is a little higher volume board then you would usually see in the line up and it’s great. With this extra volume it stay in pocket haves better then smaller boards would and it also helps ease the pop up for beginner riders! The Badfish Sk8 is my go to short board!
