Weighing in at only 18 pounds, the Flyweight is the newest addition to the Badfish inflatable lineup. This revolutionary board weighs less and is more packable than the average inflatable paddle board, allowing you to always take your board with you. Utilizing Badfish’s new AirLite drop stitch technology, the Flyweight is soft and pliable when deflated, and shows no compromise with excellent rigidity and durability when inflated. The Flyweight is easy to pack, light to carry and has all the same features you expect from a Badfish inflatable paddle board.

Bag is ridiculous
I do like the board a lot but it’s advertised as an adventure board and to me that means the pack should be of good enough quality to hike at least a small distance with and it suuuucks!! The bag is soooo massive you could fit 2 paddleboard in it. The pack is a huge sloppy rectangle with zero thought to body proportions, comfort or weight! The straps wouldn’t align with any body shape I know. And the shoulder straps have little to no padding. To top it off when I went to tighten the waist strap the buckle snapped because the plastic is too thin and cheap . I would say no paddleboard company is doing a good job on their packs so hey badfish why do t you be the first!! Let’s ditch this dumb oversized rectangle design! And get something on the market that is functional
Jolaina, I am sorry you aren't happy with your bag. We make a smaller one that does fit the Flyweight if you'd like to try that I would be happy to send you one. Can you email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we can continue the conversation over email? Thank you.
Inflates fast, carries like a dream, and cruises through the water. Detachable fins help it pack small and the board colors are great. Don't be deterred by criticisms about lower stability due to narrower width, my son and I are new paddlers and have no problems.
The best of two boards.
Two Boards. I recently bought 2 SUPs from Badfish and love them both. I use the Flyweight for class 1 rivers and when I need to carry the board any distance at all. It handles beautifully, is very well made, and such a breeze to carry. I also have a Selfie 14 for cruising lake workouts. It is fast and stable and a delight to paddle on local lakes and the ocean. Two different boards for two different and equally fun uses. I highly recommend both.
I love my new Flyweight. In February, I tried a friend’s Flyweight in Belize on two afternoons and then ordered one immediately upon my return home. I found it to be very stable on the ocean and am using my new Flyweight on a river near home. Nice, sleek feel. I have tried other inflatables that were too barge-like.
Great light board that tracks well and packs well. Thanks
