    SUP U?

    SUP U?

This summer we met a new friend, John Fair. John is a professor in the Epic Adventures program at Eastern Washington University in Spokane, WA. Professor John is a Badfish paddler and is using the MVP to teach river SUP and surfing to his students. He sent us this video of two of his students learning to surf for the first time on the MVP. I think this really demonstrates how quick the learning curve is when you are on a board designed for the environment. -Mike Harvey, Salida, CO

    Team Badfish SUP in Montana

    Team Badfish SUP in Montana

This summer the crew met up with Elements Mixed Media in Missoula, MT to paddle and film on Alberton Gorge on the Clark Fork River. Alberton is a classic western Class III/IV whitewater run in a beautiful setting. Alberton is a legend in whitewater with appearances in classic whitewater kayaking videos like Paddlequest so Zack and I were amped to check it out. Alberton did not disappoint. Alberton Gorge may well be the best whitewater SUP run in the Country. Big, deep, powerful rapids with some fun surfing interspersed on a 9 mile run in a beautiful setting make this a must for anyone who can make it to Montana. We were lucky enough to base out of Zoo Town Surfers property, camping above the Gorge, big thanks to Jason for his hospitality. Check out the video. ISK8 in SUP the Mag's 2017 Holiday Gift Guide

It may not be a stand up paddle board but the iSk8 is causing quite the buzz. Our inflatable surfboard, designed for surfing river waves, has been featured in SUPtheMag's 2017 Holiday Gift Guide. The ISk8 makes low water surfing stress free and traveling to surf much simpler. You can roll it up, strap it to your raft or stand up paddle board, and forget about it. You can play with it in ocean waves or pull it behind a boat. It certainly is the gift that keeps on giving. Inflatable SK8 River Surfing Board from Badfish from Badfish SUP on Vimeo.
